It is not everyday you get to take a selfie with an alpaca! Today our residents and staff were fortunate to spend the afternoon with Prince Bambi and Shelley K Nottrodt from TimberLane Ranch.
Shelley visited Royal Henley and gave a gift to our staff as a thank you to frontline workers in honour of World Humanitarian Day. Shelley is an insurance agent at Desjardins and agents were given money to spread goodwill in their communities. When Lifestyle Coordinator Lauren reached out to have Prince Bambi visit Shelley knew this was a great opportunity to give back to our staff and visit our residents at the same time. What more could we ask for than a sunny day with Prince Bambi and even a visit from the ice cream truck!
