In the month of July our residents and staff enjoyed some special days and here are a few highlights.
We could not pass up National Carousel Day without visiting the beautiful Port Dalhousie. We are so lucky to be close by and being on the carousel always brings out the inner child in us all!
This was our first time acknowledging Celebration of the Horse Day and we were lucky enough to have Mickey join us from Last Chance Horse & Pony Rescue. We were in awe at how beautiful he was and that our lifestyle team made it a reality for us!
Did you know Royal Henley has a shuttle bus? Every month we enjoy a scenic drive to a new location and this month we visited Walker’s Country Market in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Thank you Lori-Ann for being a great tour guide!
We celebrated Tim Horton’s Camp Day with donuts and coffee. Our generous residents and staff donated $247 to this great cause.
Lastly a few national days we could not miss out on were National Lottery Day and Sour Candy Day. Who doesn’t want a free lotto ticket and sour candy?!
