It is a great milestone to celebrate! On April 15th, Royal Henley resident Yvonne Armstrong celebrated her 100th birthday. Gathered by family and friends Yvonne was presented with birthday wishes and messages from the Queen and Governor General. With smiles from ear to ear we shared cake and memories of cherishable moment’s of Yvonne’s life with friends.
Yvonne has spent 30 years being an avid volunteer in her community, volunteering with Canadian Cancer Society and the Cathedral Church. She continues to do volunteer work to this day and has even had other residents join as a result! Yvonne enjoys an active lifestyle here at The Royal Henley in which she enjoys going for walks around the Gazebo Garden, Aquafit exercise classes, playing BINGO and knitting.
