At The Royal Henley we have partnered with the St. Catharines branch of the Canadian Cancer Society for a few years by hosting one of their Support Groups monthly meetings in our Clubhouse Theatre. The Canadian Cancer Society has a mission to enhance the quality of life of those who are living with cancer. Staff, residents and visitors of The Royal Henley take pride in donating money to support this mission.
When meetings are held the attendees donate funds which then are donated back to the Society. In addition to these monthly meetings we also organize our own events in which attendees are welcome to donate to the Canadian Cancer Society. At our 8th Anniversary & Strawberry Social in June we organized a Raffle Table which was very successful.
Krista & Jessica were excited to present $580 to Community Coordinator of the Society Elizabeth Richards. We look forward to seeing what will be raised from now until next Summer!
