One of our dedicated and proud to call our own employee Lori Ann has driven the backpack project here at the Royal Henley along with our Resident Council. It has been a project we have been working on throughout the year of 2018. Each month we have had generous donations of items to fill backpacks for the homeless. Items like shampoo, tooth paste, socks, travel mug, etc. As a combined effort of residents and staff we have been able to fill 20 backpacks. Among donations were homemade hats and mittens that were knit by our very own residents. What an accomplishment! We are also thankful for the great community support from our local Costco & Mark’s No Frills. The back packs were distributed over the holidays.
