A Happy Birthday to St. Catharines as this year we celebrate 141 years. It is a great place to live and even better place to enjoy retirement. There is plenty to do, see and enjoy in the Garden City. Head Downtown for the Market Square, Musicals, Theatre Arts performance or an Action Packed Sports game! St. Catharines has many fun & exciting festivals and year round events. Where else can you or your grandchildren ride a century old carousel for only a NICKEL. Looking for a quieter afternoon, take a stroll along the canal path, there is a great viewing platform at Lock 3, here you can watch boats pass through or spend some time wandering through the St. Catharines Museum. The Niagara Escarpment is stunning, the views of Lake Ontario are breathtaking and there are beautiful vineyards that you can enjoy an informative tour and tasting. It’s a city that boosts many opportunities and this is a great city to call home.
